1992 Australia Kookaburra 1 oz Silver $1 ANACS MS70 DCAM
This 1992 Australian Kookaburra $1 Silver Coin is an exceptionally preserved early-date release from The Perth Mint’s celebrated Kookaburra series. Struck from 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver, it has been certified by ANACS as MS70 DCAM—a perfect numerical grade with impressive Deep Cameo contrast.
The 1992 release has a final mintage of only 219,694 coins, substantially lower than its original authorized limit. Its reverse, designed by John Bergdahl, portrays a kookaburra perched on a tree branch. The obverse displays Raphael Maklouf’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the Australian $1 denomination.
