1995 Australia Kookaburra 1 oz Silver $1 ANACS MS70 DCAM
This 1995 Australian Kookaburra $1 Silver Coin is a scarce early release from The Perth Mint’s popular annually changing Kookaburra series. Containing 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver, this exceptional example has been certified by ANACS as MS70 DCAM—a perfect numerical grade with bold Deep Cameo contrast.
Only 154,247 one-ounce bullion coins were issued for 1995, making this one of the lower-mintage early Kookaburra dates. Designed by Tony Dean, the reverse features a kookaburra perched on the branch of a gum tree. The obverse bears Raphael Maklouf’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the Australian $1 denomination.
