The reverse portrays a powerful adult tiger standing on rocky terrain beneath the branch of a pine tree. The design also includes the Chinese character for tiger, the inscription “YEAR OF THE TIGER” and the coin’s one-ounce silver weight and purity.

The obverse features Jody Clark’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by representations of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac. The inscriptions identify the issuing country, 2022 date and legal-tender denomination of one Australian dollar.

Struck from one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, this brilliant uncirculated Royal Australian Mint release was limited to only 50,000 coins worldwide.
