2022 Most Dangerous - Desert Scorpion RAM
2022 Most Dangerous - Desert Scorpion RAM
Explore Australia’s fearsome wildlife with this 2022 Australian Desert Scorpion 1 oz Silver Coin from the Royal Australian Mint.
This premium bullion coin is the third release in the popular Australia’s Most Dangerous series, following the Redback Spider and Great White Shark issues.
The reverse features a dramatically detailed Australian desert scorpion with its pincers extended and tail raised beneath the intense desert sun. Radiating lines emphasize the harsh environment inhabited by this large and aggressive Australian arachnid. The inscriptions “DESERT SCORPION” and “1 oz .999 SILVER” complete the design.
The obverse displays Jody Clark’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II together with the inscriptions “ELIZABETH II,” “AUSTRALIA 2022” and the legal-tender denomination of one Australian dollar.
Struck from one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, this brilliant uncirculated release was limited to only 25,000 coins worldwide.
