2024 RAM Koala 1 oz .999 Silver Coin – First Release – 22,500 Mintage

Own the inaugural release in the Royal Australian Mint’s new Koala bullion series with this 2024 RAM Koala 1 oz Silver Investment Coin.

The reverse features a detailed Australian koala resting among the branches and leaves of a eucalyptus tree. The letters spelling “KOALA” are incorporated vertically into the tree design, creating a distinctive contemporary presentation. The coin’s weight and purity appear along the lower edge.

The obverse bears the official Queen Elizabeth II Memorial design by Jody Clark. Her Majesty’s effigy is accompanied by the dates of her reign, “1952–2022,” together with the issuing country, 2024 date and legal-tender denomination of one Australian dollar.

Struck from one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, this brilliant uncirculated coin launched the Royal Australian Mint Koala series. Although its authorized maximum mintage was 25,000, Royal Australian Mint production records show a final mintage of only 22,500 coins.
