Since 2018 the Perth Mint has issued an annual 1 oz silver Dragon coin in a rectangular, bar-like shape, with a new Chinese dragon design each year and the Perth Mint 'P' mintmark. Each piece is struck in 99.99% silver, carries a $1 face value and is Australian legal tender. The 2018 issue was the Perth Mint's first rectangular bullion coin.

The 2026 reverse features an eastern dragon with outstretched claws and finely detailed scaled body.
