Celebrate one of Australia’s most beloved native animals with this 2021 Australian Quokka $1 silver bullion coin from The Perth Mint.

The second annual release in the Australian Quokka series features an adult quokka with its young joey in a natural Western Australian setting. Rottnest Island daisies, butterflies and a bobtail lizard surround the pair, creating a detailed wildlife scene designed by Jennifer McKenna.

The design also includes The Perth Mint’s traditional “P” mintmark and a micro-laser engraved security feature that is visible only under magnification.

The obverse displays Jody Clark’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, together with the coin’s 2021 date, $1 Australian denomination, one-ounce weight and .9999 silver purity.
