Add a striking symbol of prosperity and protection to your collection with this 2020 Australian Double Pixiu silver coin, struck by The Perth Mint from 1 troy ounce of .9999 fine silver.
The reverse features a pair of intricately detailed pixiu—mythical Chinese guardian creatures traditionally associated with fortune, happiness, and wealth. The pair sits upon a mound of ancient coins and treasure. One pixiu holds a decorative ball while the other is accompanied by a pixiu cub. The Perth Mint’s “P” mintmark appears above the design.
The obverse displays Jody Clark’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II together with the coin’s 2020 date, weight, purity, and $1 Australian legal-tender denomination.
