This coin is the second release in the popular Australia Zoo bullion series, following the 2020 Sumatran Tiger. Its reverse depicts an alert cheetah walking through grassland, accompanied by the inscriptions “AUSTRALIA ZOO,” “CHEETAH” and “1 OZ .999 Ag.” The design was created by artist Adam Ball.

The obverse carries Jody Clark’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, together with the issuing country, 2021 date and legal-tender denomination of one Australian dollar.

Struck from one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, this wildlife-themed bullion coin had a limited declared mintage of only 25,000 pieces worldwide.
